The Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey hosted its annual Passion * Power * Progress Awards reception on Thursday, March 7th at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick. The event was a great success, honoring those whose leadership, civic involvement and professional efforts have helped make New Jersey a better place for women.
This year WPCNJ was delighted to present the following awards to:
- Carol R. Katz – Trailblazer Award
- Arlene Quinones Perez, Esq. – Mary Philbrook Award
- Anthony “Skip” Cimino – Good Guy Award
- Alfred J. Gaburo– Good Guy Award
- Rebecca L. Williams – Social Justice Award
- Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey – Corporate Award
“Congratulations to this year’s honorees for your well-deserved recognition,” said WPCNJ President, Eileen Kean. “Your commitment to empowering women is truly commendable and we’re grateful for your continued efforts to foster a community where women can thrive.”
The event was attended by State lawmakers, as well as county and local elected officials.
The Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey is the only multi-partisan, pro-choice, grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political process and creating a political power base to achieve gender equality.
