The Education and Training Fund of the Women's Political Caucus of New Jersey is sponsoring a limited number of scholarships for women who wish to attend the world class Center for American Women & Politics 2024 Ready to Run conference being held March 15-16. The conference provides training for potential candidates and campaign staff, as well as valuable information for those who want to know more about getting more women elected to office.
CAWP has developed a Diversity Initiative of Ready to Run® to attract more women of color into the political process and encourage them to seek public leadership. The Diversity Initiative in New Jersey comprises three programs for Black women, Asian American women, and Latinas. Since the creation of the Diversity Initiative, half of the participants in the New Jersey Ready to Run® program have been women of color.
