WPCNJ To Honor Arlene Perez, Mary Philbrook Award Recipient

She served as Chair of the Judicial and Prosecutorial Committee ("JPAC") for the New Jersey State Bar Association from 2019 to 2020, and as President of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey where she served on the Board for over ten years.

 

Arlene graduated from Rutgers School of Law with her Juris Doctorate Degree in 2009. Prior to law school, Arlene worked in state government in the Office of the Governor as well as the N.J. Attorney General’s Office.

 

For the last 10 years, Arlene has been the elected County Chair in Hunterdon County, and has assisted on campaigns ranging from federal campaigns, statewide gubernatorial campaigns to local campaigns, and has used her time her County Chair to promote women to run for office.

 

Arlene was featured in the Hispanic Executive Magazine, listed by PoliticsNJ on the 40 Under 40 Power List, as one of New Jersey's top 50 rising stars, and featured in the Star-Ledger as a Person of Interest.
